This chain has an architecture to it that I find completely compelling. The construction is twisted rope links with silver balls soldered along the entire length, and the result sits high off the skin, with a profile and a presence that most chains simply do not have. It catches the light from every angle as it moves, all those facets and balls working together, and the weight of it on the neck is deeply satisfying in the way that only really solid silver can be.
There is something interesting happening with the contrast too. The twisted rope has a softness to it, almost fluid, and the balls are crisp and graphic. The two together give it a texture and dimension that reads as both bold and considered.
The toggle clasp is exactly right for this chain. Easy on, easy off, and completely secure.
