Vintage INSANE Skull Necklace with Bone Toggle Clasp (21.5")

Vintage solid silver and, frankly, outrageous. I am completely head-over-heels, crying at my desk, IN LOVE with this one.

I bought four skull-themed chains at the same time and this is the very last one left. The others are now being thoroughly adored in their new homes, and I honestly cannot believe I still have this one because it may be the most dramatic of the lot.

The chain is made from a continuous run of individually sculpted solid silver skulls, each one divinely chunky, weighty and full of detail. This is not a delicate little novelty chain. It has proper substance, sits beautifully around the neck and gives you that rare combination of being slightly macabre, genuinely luxurious and incredibly wearable.

And then there is the clasp. The toggle bar is a bone. A literal silver bone. It has completely sent me.

One of the other skull chains from this group was bought by a customer who had it finished with our 5 microns of hard gold plating, and it looked ridiculously good. So this would be a spectacular candidate for plating, but in its original silver it has that perfectly gothic, slightly rock-and-roll feel that makes the detailing pop.
