Vintage Trombone and Lovers Knot Bracelet (8")

This one stopped me in my tracks the moment I picked it up. The trombone links, the double lovers knot connectors, that gorgeous dog clip clasp. It reads antique, and that is the highest compliment I can pay it.

It is in fact a vintage piece, and that is where the best of both worlds comes in. This is a close, considered reproduction of an antique style, which means you get all the visual drama of a Victorian Albert chain with none of the anxiety. The construction is clever too. Every design decision maximises the visual weight of the gold without loading up the gold weight itself, so it sits lightly on the wrist and wears at a proper, generous length. Vintage pieces made this way tend to come up in beautiful condition, and this one is no exception.

And I was delighted to find it closed with a dog clip. Always a good sign.

The colour is perfect. Rich and deep, warm undertones that make it look old and storied, but a true yellow with no pink. If you know, you know.

The bracelet is 8 inches when measured end to end, but as we know with trombone links the style of the bracelet shortens the length it fits well to. This is a perfect fit on my 7 inch wrist, so would suit a 6.5-7" wrist.
