Vintage Disco Popcorn Chain (24")

This is the best little disco popcorn chain I’ve ever had.

I have a slightly love-hate relationship with this style of chain because I see loads of them, and most of them I leave behind. There is so often just something slightly off about the proportions. They can feel a bit too chunky, a bit too tubular, or just not quite right once you actually try to stack them.

This one is different.

It feels like someone took the standard proportions of a popcorn chain and shrunk the whole thing down by about 20%, and suddenly everything works. It sits beautifully, it moves properly, and it gives you all that lovely texture and sparkle without barging into the rest of your stack.

And the gold colour is SO good.

These chains are often made in gold alloys that, to me, can feel a little flat or slightly muddy. This one has this incredibly glowing, high-carat-looking yellow tone that catches the light across every tiny facet and turns the whole thing into a little disco-ball sparkle wonder baby.

As a texture piece in a stack, I think this is exceptional. It is going to look SO good next to smooth cable chains, curb links, snake chains, anything with a cleaner surface, because it gives you that extra flash and movement without competing with everything else.

And if you do want to add a couple of charms, it can absolutely handle that too.

Tiny, glittery, tactile, beautifully proportioned. Just a really, really good chain.
