A proper chunky gold safety pin, and one of my favourite pieces of jewellery kit for getting more out of the collection you already own.
Wear it simply as a pendant, load it with charms to create a completely changeable jumble, or use it to connect two chains and build something longer and more individual. It can also become the focal point of a lariat, act as a decorative clasp at the front of a necklace, gather together several chain ends, or alter the length and shape of an existing stack.
This is exactly why I keep several safety pins in my own collection. They make jewellery feel modular. The same group of chains and charms can be rearranged into something entirely different depending on how you connect them and what you hang from the pin.
The substantial gauge gives this one wonderful presence even when worn alone, while the clean, functional design makes it incredibly easy to mix with antique, vintage and modern pieces.
