They're furiously handy to have in your collection - I have three and use them solo or stack them to be able to always get chains to the exact length I want meaning I can pair pieces that would otherwise be the same length. You can also use them to carry charm jumbles. AND having one allows you to buy shorter length antique chains. Shorter length Antique chains are often less desirable and so more competitively priced.
