Vintage Anchor Earrings

Anchors have such a long history in jewellery symbolism. They are traditionally associated with hope, stability, strength and staying grounded, which is obviously lovely if you want the meaning. But equally, even stripped of all that symbolism, the anchor is just one of those motifs people have always loved because its fun.

And these have so much personality. The little rope detail, the sculptural shape, the movement when they hang.
