This extender was created from the same short length of antique solid trombone chain as its longer sibling. At just 3.5 inches, it’s a more compact option, finished with a vintage dog clip rather than an antique one, which also makes it the slightly more accessible of the two.
The trombone links are completely solid, with wonderful chunkiness and presence. Use it to add a little extra length to a chain, or simply to break up the links and bring more texture and individuality to your stack.
The end ring can also be slipped onto a chain to create a short lariat-style drop, with the dog clip used to hold a pendant or charm jumble. It’s a small addition that gives you far more freedom to play around with lengths, layers and different configurations.
