Articulated Snake Chain with Integrated Latch Closure

This is tooo bloody GOOD.

A spectacular silver snake chain necklace, built around one of those designs that just feels completely resolved from every angle. The chain itself has that beautiful, fluid snake construction we all know and love, substantial enough to make a proper statement, but still sleek enough that it doesn’t overwhelm everything else you’re wearing so totally stackable.

And then, brilliantly, they’ve taken the idea of a snake chain and made it into an actual snake.

The chain feeds into this incredible sculptural snake head, which curves languishes over its own tail. It is such a clever, satisfying piece of design, and turns what could already have been a beautiful necklace into something completely singular. The snake head itself has so much personality, with engraved scale detailing, a proper little face and just enough bite to stop it feeling overly polished or generic. It feels almost like a tiny piece of sculpture sitting at the collarbone.

At the back, the necklace is finished with a beautifully integrated clasp, which blends almost seamlessly into the body of the chain. I absolutely love this kind of clasp on a snake chain. It’s such a premium little detail, incredibly sleek, easy to wear, and keeps the whole piece looking completely uninterrupted.

What I especially love is that, despite having all this presence, it is still incredibly wearable. You can absolutely wear it alone and let the shape do all the work, but it is not so huge that you can’t stack it with other chains and build something completely insane around it.

I’m struggling to confidently date this one, as there isn’t much in the construction giving the game away, so I’d rather not pretend certainty where there isn’t any. What I can say is that it is an exceptionally well-made, unusual piece, and genuinely unlike anything else I have in.
