Antique French Bar Chain with Yellow Accents and Pearl Stations (15+1/4")

If I could make a wish to the pre-loved jewellery gods it would be for more platinum pieces to come onto the market. They're so so rare, even more unusual than 15ct, and I think it is the perfect white metal. While a few years ago platinum cost more than high-carat gold, while the price of gold has soared, platinum has remained much more stable making it now super affordable compared to gold - about on par with 9ct gold except it is much more pure. I way prefer to it to white gold, and it is more luxurious than silver. 

This piece is truly fabulous - and the attention to detail is incredible. A bar chain, offset with natural pearls and each bar inlaid with white enamel. Even the bolt clasp has been finished with a tiny bead of gold. The clasps make it super collectable, and French jewellery is always really high quality.
