This is SUCH a satisfying antique silver bracelet, not least because you are really getting two pieces of jewellery in one.
The bracelet itself is made up of darling engraved book links, alternating between rounded floral panels and more architectural, shaped connectors. There is loads of variation in the surface decoration, which gives the whole thing mountains of textural play and dimension.
Then you get the removable bolt ring clasp, which is a serious bonus. These clasps are incredibly useful pieces in their own right and can easily command a couple of hundred pounds alone, especially in antique silver. Because this one detaches completely, you can wear the bracelet as intended or remove the clasp and use it elsewhere, on a chain, charm holder or another bracelet, depending on your mood.
It is exactly the sort of piece I love because it is decorative, tactile and useful all at once. Plenty of antique character, plenty of texture, and a versatile clasp that gives you far more styling options than a standard bracelet fastening.
