A joyful, kinetic little masterpiece. This antique tassel pendant is full of character, with a perfectly proportioned spherical top chased with deep textured detailing that makes it a delight to handle. The bail is satisfyingly chunky, giving it a pleasing weight and balance, and from it hang five strands of Spiga-link tassels that sway beautifully when worn. Each is finished with a tiny ball terminal, all intact and in perfect condition, a rarity for these fragile survivors. Tassels like this often came from Victorian Albertinas and were loved for their movement and texture. This one feels unusually complete and substantial, a small sculpture that adds rhythm and life to any chain.
