Antique XL Ungraduated Albert Chain (18 + 1/4")

This is one of those Alberts where the proportions are just completely unreal, and I am over the bloody moon to have her. 

A seriously chunky antique silver curb, completely ungraduated and measuring over 18 inches long, which is a combination that is so hard to find. If you’ve been waiting for a proper monster Albert that does absolutely everything, this is it.

The curb itself is incredibly broad and substantial, with that gorgeous weighty antique feel, and every single link carries the lion passant. The hallmarks are beautifully crisp too, which is always such a treat on a chain this old.

Then we’ve got the dog clips, which are enormous. Proper oversized clips, much bigger than the standard Albert fittings you normally see, so the whole thing feels incredibly balanced and intentional rather than a big chain with tiny hardware.

Wear it clips-forward and absolutely pile it with charms, pendants and nonsense, or turn the whole thing around and wear the uninterrupted curb at the front for a cleaner, simpler look. It somehow manages to be both outrageously statement-making and incredibly wearable.

A really exceptional example, with the kind of width, length, proportions and condition that are becoming increasingly difficult to come across.
